Some of our members...

The Berkeley County Rescue Squad is made up of thirty active members who come from all walks of life.  Some of us are former law enforcement, ex-military, and current volunteer firefighters.  Then there are others of us who are journalists, 9-1-1 dispatchers, stay-at-home moms, or simply retired.  No matter what our background may be, we all have one thing in common, and that is that we thrive on adventure, and don't mind stopping what we're doing to respond to a call for help.

Our meetings...

The regular business meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month inside the rescue building.  There, we go over the calls we responded to that month, how they were handled, what we might do better next time, policy and procedures, etc.  The list is endless.

Training is held at 7:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the rescue building.  During that time, you might find us out in Pinopolis training on the lake or making sure our equipment is in working order.

Our meetings take place in the upstairs room of the rescue building twice a month.
